What a Fabulous Day

Our Lake Arrowhead weekend adventure left us wanting to stay longer.   We stayed in a cabin across from the lake which had a floating dock (actually called a slip) along with kayaks and body boards.   If you rent a place to stay, make sure they offer a lake access pass because without one you will not have access to play on the lake. And security does ask for passes.

The Fabulous…

• Easy to get to..just under 2 hours from LA without traffic
• The lake is beautiful and clean!
• Filled with life.. crayfish, turtles, fish —and people too 🙂 but not crazy crowded 
• Wonderful hikes
• Very cute little town

The Not So Fabulous…

• For the folks who dont like heights…the last 20 minutes of the drive up into Lake Arrowhead is pretty twisty and some drop off spots with low guard rails. It’s quite beautiful though!
