The Goodland Hotel Santa Barbara
The Kimpton Goodland Hotel in Santa Barbara was a really good time. I stayed here with my boys for 6 days during a soccer camp at UCSB. And for so many reasons it was a wonderful choice.
The Fabulous…
- Close to freeway (we could not hear it).. minutes from UCSB.. walking distance to restaurants and about 8 minutes drive to Main Street Santa Barbara
- Super dog friendly
- Stylish and clean design in lobby and room
- Awesome large shower with a rock floor
- Very nice in room shampoo/soap and snacks
- Fun events like smores night every Monday! As well as a record/dj spinning room and bikes available
- Cool vibe restaurant and bar with outdoor area and interesting menu options
The Not So Fabulous…
- The hotel comes with great “extras”.. bikes, smores etc., and along with that there is a $25/day charge whether you use the amenities or not. This might actually be worth it because the hotel is quite affordable and the extras were fun!
